How Long Do I Have Access to The Venue?
Access period for Events is from 10 am-11 pm. Ceremonies can start NO earlier than 3 pm, without prior approval.
If the event concludes prior to 11 pm, the Vendor/Client may use the additional time for a clean up and strike of equipment if necessary, at no additional charge.
What Time Does Clean Up Have to Be Done?
All events must conclude by 11 pm in order to allow for clean-up and closure of the venue by 12 am-midnight. Vendor/Client strike and equipment removal concluding by 12am. Extension of time will be billed at $500 per hour, not pro-rated, and arranged in advance.
Who is Responsible for Set Up/Break Down?
Set up of decorations are the responsibility of the client. Treehouse Provisions will be responsible for your table set up for dinner service if contracted for your event. If using an outside caterer, be sure to discuss room set up with them. At the end of events, clients will be responsible for removing all decorations and personal items from the venue. No breakdown of tables, chairs, etc. is necessary.

You may use any LICENSED caterer, as long as they will be providing FULL SERVICE and NOT drop-off.
*You may NOT cater or provide your own food. This is a requirement of The Health Department.
If choosing an outside caterer...
- Be licensed
- Pay kitchen use fee of $200 (at least one week before the wedding)
- Bring extra trash bags and take their trash WITH them at the end of the night (off-site)
- New caterers come to visit the facility prior to your event to be familiar with our location and facility layout.
- Caterer may contact the facility directly to schedule a visit if preferred.
On premise wedding ceremony sites include venue patio & covered pavilion.
Is There the Option for Rehearsals?
Ceremony rehearsals, where applicable, are limited to one hour based on availability and scheduled by the Venue in advance.
Are There Suites to Get Ready In, and What is Included?
Day use of The Getting Ready Rooms is included in the rental fee. This area is designed with two entrances and can be divided to serve as a private Bride and Groom’s lounge the day of the event with access hours of 10 am-11 pm and includes:
2 rooms with Lounge
- (1) Private half bath (sink and toilet) and vanity/mirror area
- Hooks for hanging
- (2) Large Mirrors
Large room with Lounge
- Living area and kitchen
- Outdoor deck
- Full bath (shower, sink, and toilet)
Do You Require Insurance for My Event?
Yes, all events require a Certificate of General Liability Insurance with “22650 Vess LLC” at 23164 Vess Road, Glenmont, Ohio 44628 named as additional insured (see contract for specific limits and verbiage).
Fire Pit Usage is included in your rental and is acceptable as long as there are no fire bans. Firewood is NOT included.
Are Candles Prohibited?
All candles must be contained or enclosed in glass. The flame must not reach higher than 2 inches from below the height of the glass. If wax is found on floor, tables, or surfaces a cleaning fee will automatically be charged.
Are "Open Flames" Allowed?
No open flames, fires, BBQ’s or sparklers unless approved by the Venue in advance.
What Decor Can I Use?
Any decor you would like to use is permitted. All decor must be removed at the end of the night with no damage to the property.

What in House Inventory is Available?
(1) 24’ long by approx. 30 inch wide, handcrafted, pine, banquet table used as a head table or buffet table
(25) 8’ rectangle wood folding banquet tables (table covers and linens suggested)
(6) high top rustic bar tables for cocktail hour
(1) rustic round cake table
(1) large rectangular reception/gift table
White twinkle lights are wrapped around support trusses, beams, and handrails.
There are Cantina lights over the patio and grassy front area.
Client may add additional lights or take lights down as long as they put them back up.
(200) White Garden Chairs
Audio (separate agreement for use of these items)
Bose L1 Compact small venue performance speaker system for use in the reception area

*Venue does not have dollies on-site.
*Venue does not have ladders or lifts on-site, please plan accordingly.
*No overnight storage is available.
Non-event guests may be present on the property as guests of Mohican Cabins (e.g. pond, walking paths, driveways, cabins).
Golf-carts, Gators, ATV’s are not available for use by guests or vendors.
No stapling or tacking materials to any walls, posts, or doors.
All guests and vendor must adhere to posted Venue boundaries and private area signage.
Smoking allowed in the parking lot near your vehicle only.
Amplified music must be kept at a reasonable level. Volume control will be at the discretion of the Venue management. Use of outdoor/exterior sound system speakers must be turned down at 10 pm. All sound must be turned substantially down by 11 pm.
(100) Non-paved dispersed parking spaces are available
Each Cabin has parking for up to 4 cars, and treehouse up to 2 cars. Any extra cars may be parked in the parking lot.
All treehouses and cabins may be rented at standard rates based on availability for your event. Accommodations are held for up to 3 months prior to your event at which time they are released to the general public for reservations. A 50% deposit is required to reserve cabins/treehouses for your event

*Any properties not rented by your guests will be opened to the public. (Except for the Nest because of its proximity to the venue)
