When it comes to comfort, there are a few key pieces I pull from my closet that make all the difference. First: fleece lined leggings. These babies will keep you nice and toasty without making you look like a marshmallow. Layering long sleeve, thermal tees with sweaters or hoodies mean you can be as cozy as you wish without risking sweating in that one 98 degree room (college kids will understand me here!). Waterproof boots that come up at least mid-calf are a must. Combat boots are my personal faves, as they can be matched with some sweater-socks for that extra cozy touch. Finally, a nice faux-fur lined coat will shield you from the elements.
Dressed for Success
I've got two words for you, people: black denim. During these chilly January days and nights, nice thick, high-quality denim is a great way to look good without freezing your tush off. Black makes your outfit business and GNO approved. Layers are once again the key to success here. If you're going to a meeting, try a fitted long sleeve, sweater or even a button down. Matched with knee-high boots and a classy coat you're sure to make a great impression.
