1. Try All-Inclusive
Recently I went to an all-inclusive hotel in Mexico. When I came home, I wanted to compare cost between a week at that hotel and a week in Florida at a hotel my family used to stay at. As it turns out, a week in Florida for just a room on the beach cost the same amount as the entire week in Mexico with all meals and drinks included PLUS the plane tickets. I understand that there are a lot of factors that go into pricing, but not having to worry about where we are going to eat or how much dinner would cost was great. So if you want as hassle-free a vacation as possible, I would recommend researching all-inclusive hotels in areas that look appealing to you.
2. Take A Cruise
3. Wind Down Differently
If you’re not a boat person (sadly, like myself) you might want to try something a little different. Forget the tourists, forget the overcrowded beaches. If you’re just looking for a relaxing, quiet week away (or especially if you’re the outdoorsy type) try renting out a cabin or treehouse. Being able to escape from the stress of your everyday life and just enjoy yourself in a cozy environment might be what you need. Plus, there are plenty of options depending on how many people you intend on brining with you!
