We know. It is your childhood fantasy come to life. Weather your previous experience with tree houses were similar to mine--building/"remodeling" the neighbor boy's tree house (making "bunk beds" out of plywood that were entirely way too janky to actually test your weight while standing on a platform 15 feet in the air)--or you were one of those kids who longed to live on the edge, yearned to dangle your feet over the ladder of a tree house that would only ever be stationed in your wildest dreams, because A. Your yard didn't have a tree big enough to even hold a 2x4, or B. Your parents were way too concerned for your safety--you can be rest assured that these tree houses won't disappoint!
And, if you are as addicted to the tiny house movement as I am, you will geek out as much as I did once you realize that the tree houses are basically tiny houses, but suspended in the air by trees, which makes them even more amazing (especially if you want to see how you would fare if you ever took the plunge and bought one).
The weekends at the tree houses fill up fast, which makes it a great time to take advantage of the reduced weekday rate. If you have a specific date in mind and your favorite tree house is booked, try out one of the cabins! The roomy cottages offer many of the same amenities, and you can invite a few more friends to tag along.
The Mohicans are the perfect getaway from all of the stresses of an being an adult. But, (in the words of Lamar Burton) you don't have to take my word for it. Go ahead, book one of them today. Your inner child will thank you!
